Tavix for Education

Tuti helps you study, teach and grade.

Students turn their own notes and slides into flashcards, quizzes and a tutor that cites the page, right in the chat. Teachers grade a stack of handwritten work and approve every score. For a whole school, talk to us.

Free to start for students and teachers. On the web and Android.

  • Answers cite the file and page they came from
  • Teachers approve every grade
  • Works with Google Classroom and Canvas
  • Any phone can be the laptop’s camera

See how it works

From a lecture to a quiz, in one chat.

Add a lecture and Tuti makes flashcards and a quiz right in the chat. When you get an answer wrong, it explains why and quotes the slide it came from.

A biology lecture becomes flashcards and a quiz. A wrong answer comes back with the right one and a quote from the slide.

The tools

One tutor, every study tool.

Pick a tool to see it work. These are live: drag the graph, answer the quiz, flip the cards.

Tutor and graphs

Answers from your textbook, with the page.

Ask about anything in your course. Tuti explains it step by step from the material you added and shows the file and page it used. For math, it draws an interactive graph right in the chat, with sliders you can drag.

  • Explain, Socratic and exam-cram modes
  • Every answer cites its file and page
  • Graphs with sliders, zoom and pan

Things you can check

Built so you can check its work.

Tuti shows where every answer comes from, and teachers decide every grade.

  • p. 12Answers, cards and questions name the file and page they came from.
  • 0grades go back to an LMS before the teacher approves them.
  • 8question types, from multiple choice to math checked with a computer algebra system.
  • 1QR code turns any phone into the laptop’s camera. No app needed.

Examples

Things people ask Tuti.

  • “Make flashcards from lecture 7 and quiz me on what I get wrong.”

    A first-year biology student

What Tuti does: reads the slides, makes the cards and a quiz, and turns missed questions into new cards.

  • “Grade these Quiz 3.2 scans with my rubric. Don’t send anything back yet.”

    An algebra teacher

What Tuti does: splits the scan by student, drafts scores with deductions on each page, and waits for approval.

  • “Make a worksheet on factoring, with an answer key.”

    A math teacher

What Tuti does: writes it from your notes, with a key and a rubric, ready to print as a PDF.

Questions and answers.

Short answers about homework, grading, privacy, devices and price.

Will Tuti do my homework?
No. Tuti explains, asks you questions, gives hints and checks your work. Turn on Socratic mode and it won’t give final answers, even if you ask. Follow your school’s rules on AI.
Does Tuti grade on its own?
No. Tuti drafts a score for each question, with every deduction pinned to the page and tied to a rubric item. You review it, change anything and approve. Nothing goes back to Google Classroom or Canvas until you do.
Is student data used to train AI models?
No. Students’ files, chats, answers and grades are never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. They’re used only to run Tavix for that student, teacher or school.
Which devices does it work on?
Any web browser, and the Tavix app on Android. The iPhone app is coming soon. Any phone can be your laptop’s camera: scan the QR code with the phone’s own camera app, with no install or login.
Does it work with Google Classroom and Canvas?
Yes, with your own login. Connect Google Classroom, or Canvas with a personal access token, and pick an assignment: Tuti pulls the submissions, and after you approve the grades, it passes them back. Anything else works through CSV export. To connect them for every teacher in a school, contact us.
What does it cost?
Students get a free plan with 50 AI generations a month. Student Plus is $7.99 a month with a school email, and teachers start free. For a whole school, contact us.
